Room in the Inn Is:
- A homeless shelter that is a safe, clean place to sleep, in an inclusive, non-judgemental atmosphere of compassion and respect.
- An interfaith effort.
- A place of hospitality.
- An efficient use of congregation facilities to provide overnight shelter for the unhoused.
- Not another large shelter. It is not a solution for homelessness, but gives guests a feeling of belonging and community.
- A way for more people to become directly involved with those experiencing homelessness in our community.
- A way to serve and put faith into practice.
